happy new year…
Hey everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wow 2007 went by so fast! I can’t believe it’s 2008 already! Time flies!
So I’m not ready to make new years resolutions as of yet, so can I make like Valentine’s resolutions instead?! Am I allowed? 
Haha. And I can’t seem to make myself think back over the past year to realize what it was all about. You know how you kind of say, “oh yeah 1999 was the year that… and 2001 was that year… and 2006 was the year I…” Well I can’t really say what 2007 was about. Maybe it was about my promotion in my job, I guess that’s what it’ll have to be for now. I got a pretty awesome promotion at work where I got some nice benefits to go along with it. It’s pretty interesting. I’ve learned a TON and have found new ways to enjoy my new job.
Since going home to California for my holiday vacation and not spending hardly ANY time on the computer, I noticed that staring at a computer the entire day at work is hard on my eyes and gives me headaches sometimes!! I came back and within like the first day, halfway through it, I already had a headache! And I got one the next day too, and that’s the only conclusion I can come up with. The vacation was exactly what I needed though! I needed to get AWAY from my cold, lonely basement and be with my family!!! It was so nice to see my entire family and play with all my nieces and nephews! We also went to Alcatraz the day after Christmas, that was really neat to see the history of that island! I took some great pictures! Haven’t uploaded them yet but I will sometime I’m sure! I’m always slow on uploading my photos. LOL. Well, just wanted a quick update on here so no one was complaining about me not updating it for so long. Haha! K well thanks for reading and enjoy 2008!!!

It does get hard on your eyes to stare at the computer. I try to make sure that every so often I get up and walk around a bit. I try to think of something to ask someone or discuss with someone just to get away for a bit.
It was lots of fun in CA. I’m glad you got to stay longer. Angela wishes she got to talk to you more often and earlier in the trip. She did enjoy the time with you towards the end. We’re posting photos and video slowly but surely on our website so as not to overwhelm our visitors. There’s so much to post!

Hey Happy New Year to you too! I think it’s totally fine to make Valentine resolutions I think I will do the same! What a great idea you can start something new. I’m glad you had such a good time with your family. Oh and by the way I love your red Christmas tree! it’s Freakin’ cute!

Marci-Hi! It’s Anica Penrod-I know, it’s been like 20 years since I’ve talked to you! Anyway, I found your blog through a post on your myspace page. I wanted to stop by and say hello and that I STILL absolutely LOVE the engagement pictures you took of us. Danny and I always talk about what a great job you did and wonder what amazing stuff you’re up to now! I wish I could have hired you for our wedding…I don’t like them nearly as much!
