Hey everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wow 2007 went by so fast! I can’t believe it’s 2008 already! Time flies!
So I’m not ready to make new years resolutions as of yet, so can I make like Valentine’s resolutions instead?! Am I allowed?
Haha. And I can’t seem to make myself think back over the past year to realize what it was all about. You know how you kind of say, “oh yeah 1999 was the year that… and 2001 was that year… and 2006 was the year I…” Well I can’t really say what 2007 was about. Maybe it was about my promotion in my job, I guess that’s what it’ll have to be for now. I got a pretty awesome promotion at work where I got some nice benefits to go along with it. It’s pretty interesting. I’ve learned a TON and have found new ways to enjoy my new job.
Since going home to California for my holiday vacation and not spending hardly ANY time on the computer, I noticed that staring at a computer the entire day at work is hard on my eyes and gives me headaches sometimes!! I came back and within like the first day, halfway through it, I already had a headache! And I got one the next day too, and that’s the only conclusion I can come up with. The vacation was exactly what I needed though! I needed to get AWAY from my cold, lonely basement and be with my family!!! It was so nice to see my entire family and play with all my nieces and nephews! We also went to Alcatraz the day after Christmas, that was really neat to see the history of that island! I took some great pictures! Haven’t uploaded them yet but I will sometime I’m sure! I’m always slow on uploading my photos. LOL. Well, just wanted a quick update on here so no one was complaining about me not updating it for so long. Haha! K well thanks for reading and enjoy 2008!!!

Ever wondered when your roots came from? I have before, I’ll admit. Sometimes when I’m feeling crazy or so depressed I wonder who I inherited those traits from. Your family history can answer a lot of questions for you, if you’re looking for that. Genealogy is a great way to grow closer to your family and strengthen that bond with your ancestors. Do you know where to start? Here are some great sites that will help:
Search US Vital records – birth, marriage, death to find your ancestors.
Search geneology records to find your ancestors and start building your family tree!

Relationships and dating can be very hard to manage, or some lucky people can have it easy and it may be a breeze for them. To each his own, right? Also, beauty products can either damage your already God-given beautiful skin or if you use the right products, they can assist in your glow or aura, if you will. So here’s a great resource for everything to do with animals. Plus you gotta have home and garden help too, am I right? It’ll all be here on this page. Pets can comfort you when you’re feeling down, can keep you company when you’re lonely and will be your best friend unconditionally. I guess some bad things about having a pet is the odor that comes along. And the fact that you have to take care of them, just like they were a person, feed them, etc. Anyway take a look at these helpful sites for pets and animals.

yay for closure. this might be overdue, but i finally feel like i got the closure i needed from an ex-boyfriend, recently. he got engaged and now i know it’s completely over, and i’ve come to terms with it and i’m fine. i’m actually happier, to be honest. (not to put him down or anything.) i don’t have that lingering stupid hope anymore that maybe, just maybe, he’ll come back. it really is a relief in a way. i was shocked when i found out the news though since they’ve only been dating a little over 2 months but if it’s right, it’s right.
i haven’t posted anything in a long time and people are probably wondering if i’m still alive. haha, yes i am. i’m just working and doing the normal things. work consumes my life. oh, i got a new cell phone, that was really exciting! but the manual came in russian and i don’t speak it, so that’s a little frustrating. lol. but i found it in english online. i went to arizona for my thanksgiving holiday and had a blast with my family! i love spending time with family, i don’t realize how much i miss them till i’m there with them, and how i want to stay even longer. none of my immediate family lives in utah around me so that’s been kinda hard. it’s ok, it just means i get to get out of utah when i visit family, right?
so i’ve realized this blog has more or less become a personal journal for me, but PUBLIC. HAHA! It’s probably not to my advantage to have a site as a journal like this but it’s an outlet, what can i say? I don’t live with anyone so it’s almost like my need to vent can be used through this, if that makes sense at all. and then i can post other cool things i like on here too. and it’s just fun to have people read my stuff and think that people care to spend time to read it. (i really think that’s the real reason i have this blog.) it’s to see if people care about me. i mean, i know my family cares. that’s a given. i dunno, it’s my own twisted thinking, that’s all. okay enough rambling. this post was supposed to be about how great the closure was for me, so i’ll end on that subject. it’s liberating to know finally for sure that i will never get back together with that ex-boyfriend, and i’m okay with it! it’s almost like when i break up, i’m still hoping, or wondering if we’ll get back together. it’s like i can’t fully let that person go. but i’ve come to find out that i absolutely hate letting people go out of my life. so maybe that’s a reason why. i care about people so much that it’s soo hard on me when i have to let them go. even just a friend, ya know? well tonight i shall get to bed early so i can test the theory of waking up earlier in the mornings if you go to bed early at night.
this IS early for me (10:15 pm). goodnight, hopefully…
hey everyone, it’s my half birthday today, yay. alright, can you hear the sarcasm in my tone? lol. so i just barely realized that like 5 minutes ago so it’s not like i’m waiting for this day to come. anyway, i need motivation. and i’m not sure how to get it. i’ve tried numerous ways and they haven’t worked thus far. i’ll keep trying though. so yeah anyway my day-to-day schedule feels pretty mundane and boring. nothing new happening. and work gets mundane too, doing the same thing over and over, checking the same things on each website. i like my job, don’t get me wrong, but it does get monotonous. but anyway, i’ve been reading this book called There Is No Death, by Sarah Menet and it’s about her near-death experience. it’s been really interesting!!! she tells it with so many details. she actually committed suicide and tells that she could see the paramedics trying to revive her, she was watching from above the room, then she goes into a description of what she saw in the afterlife. she tells it like it just happened like last week. but it happened in the year 1979. she tells of future events that she saw. it’s really a page turner. anyway, i guess i’ll go to bed now. lol.
